Avorion

Been playing Avorion for a week or two now. If you have not heard of this game then let me tell you to start reading about it now. The game is a cross between all of my favourites. Elite Dangerous, Eve Online, Space Engineers and seems to be and have almost everything. This is what No Mans Sky should have aimed for in the space side of their game. Real factions, real politics, real choosing sides, wars, epic ship battles, mining, salvaging, missions, ship design and a total freedom to make whatever the hell you want. Control other ships and build yourself a fleet....I can keep going....all of this is in this space universe open world sandbox. 

The game runs on old hardware, the multiplayer works brilliantly, and also they support Linux and I actually have a server running at my house as an Avorion Server. Works brilliantly. 

This game is still only in Beta... and early Beta at that.

It has been a long time since a game has impressed me this much.  Strongly recoomend it to anyone who wants to burn hours of their life away in the fantastic universe!

FALCON BMS: MIG'S SLOWING A FAST STRIKE

Falcon BMS mission OCA STRIKE Package 17809.

Mission is to destroy Pleso Airbase runway strip rendering it useless to enemy air forces. My wonderful TARCAP element did not arrive on the station in time and left my wing man and I to fight it out with some MIG-29 Fulcrums....

FALCON BMS: KILLING WITH CLUSTERS

Another mission in Falcon BMS. Striking an airport and our job is to neutralise a SA-2 radar guidance system called a Fan Song F. Once this has been done, fighters are clear to strike the airport without significant threat from surface to air missiles.

We will return in a later mission to remove the remaining threats and SA-2 batteries before they can replace the radar system.

Flying in a block 15 F16 which makes a change and will be returning to either a block 42 or 52 for future missions as I wait for their delivery at my new squadron.

FALCON BMS: SCUD KILLER

Another Falcon BMS video where I take on a pocket of SCUD missile launchers. Our mission is to remove the threats as they are close to the front lines and can be used against neighbouring friendly cities.

The mission goes perfectly to plan making it an enjoyable and simple operation. Sit back and enjoy ad the F16 makes things look easy once again.

Assetto Corsa Nordschleife Nurburgring Corvette C7R

My  second session ever in a C7R Corvette. Made a few adjustments to the setup in the first session then took to the track. It is not the fastest time by any means and many mistakes are made as I not only learning the car but also trying to learn the track, and what a track it is.... Nordschleife.... takes some concentrating!
